Today I’m thinking about some people I know who have to check facebook/tumblr/message boards/etc. just to make sure nobody says anything about them. These are people who have lied to friends, cheated on people, emotionally/sexually abused partners, broken trust, and all kinds of other terrible things. These are people who are always waiting to finally get called out. Every day could be the day. Because of this they can never really be friends with anyone, and can never really be honest with anyone. They know that soon the truth will come out and they will have to start over with new friends who will misplace faith in them. Thinking about what pathetic lives they live. 
Today I’m thinking about people I know who are afraid of honesty.

POINT DUME.

I’m in a surf band called POINT DUME. This is what we sounded like at our first show on 4/5/12. 

Bought new shoes. New Balance, for some mysterious reason, has released a Paul Bunyan signature shoe. Did I have any choice? Is an advertising firm analyzing my dreams?

Which reminds me, I once dreamed that Reebok had a Jackie Chan shoe coming out. In the dream I was watching CNN and they had a big story about it. Here is the thing, I didn’t know this was a dream and told all my friends, in reality, about how cool the shoe was. Waited years for it to happen before it struck me… CNN does not normally do big stories about shoes. Also, why would Reebok put out a Jackie Chan shoe? They looked really cool though. White with neon green. Classic yet modern.

Favorite new band right now. Because Spraynard talked about this band all day. Because they ruled at Smash It Dead Fest. Because this video is just exactly how a video should be. Because this song is my soundtrack to walking around all pissed off.
